What the show is
Rooftop Twenty Two is hosting The View from Twenty Two, a two-part event run in collaboration with Gary Fox. Each one brings entrepreneurs and brand founders into the room to talk about how they actually built what they’ve built. Episode 01 ran in October. This is Episode 02, in November.
About this episode
Gary Fox sits down with Richie Sadlier, RTÉ broadcaster and founder of Let’s Talk SPHE, and Emily Usher, founder of The Ballsy Baker. Hear how Emily took a protein ball into more than 400 coffee shops and onto the desks of some of the biggest employers in the country. Then hear Richie on a career that has taken him from professional football to the RTÉ studio, the therapy room and the classroom.
Gary built his name doing exactly this on The Entrepreneur Experiment, and Episode 02 follows the same approach. One on one, direct, and focused on the decisions that got them here.

Gary Fox
Presenter
Gary Fox hosts The Entrepreneur Experiment, Ireland’s top-ranked independent business podcast, and has interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs about the habits and decisions behind their success. Before podcasting, he founded the short-term rental management company HostButlers, taught brand strategy as a marketing lecturer at Dublin Business School, and worked in brand solutions at AdRoll before starting the video platform VideoScamp. Across the two episodes of The View from Twenty Two, he sits down with founders to get into the real story behind their business and their brand.
Your guests

Richie Sadlier
Broadcaster, RTÉ and Founder, Let’s Talk SPHE
Richie Sadlier is one of the best-known voices in Irish broadcasting. He played as a striker for Millwall and won a senior cap for Ireland before a hip injury ended his playing career at 24. He moved into the studio as a football analyst with RTÉ, and has been part of its coverage of the big nights in Irish and international football ever since. Away from the cameras, he retrained as a psychotherapist and spent more than a decade running workshops in schools on mental health, consent and wellbeing. His memoir, Recovering, came out in 2019. That work led him to found Let’s Talk SPHE, a platform that gives Irish post-primary schools the content and classroom tools to teach SPHE well.

Emily Usher
Founder, The Ballsy Baker
Emily Usher is the founder of The Ballsy Baker. If you’ve picked up a protein ball by the till in your local coffee shop, there’s a good chance it was one of hers. The Ballsy Baker is now stocked in more than 400 independent coffee shops across Ireland and supplies large multinationals every day.
What to expect
On arrival there will be tea, coffee and catering supplied by our good friends in Gourmet Food Parlour, with time to talk before Gary takes the stage and again once the conversation wraps.
From Episode 01
Here’s how October went.
A full room, good coffee and two founders talking straight. Episode 02 runs the same way.
