AI consulting & setup

Set your business up for AI, properly

A clear plan, the right tools set up the right way, and rules your team can follow. Practical, not a 50-page report.

What it is

How we approach AI Consulting & Setup

Buying a few AI licences doesn't change much on its own. The businesses getting real value have done three things. They've worked out where AI actually helps in their business. They've set their tools up properly, with their own knowledge, brand and rules built in. And they've made it part of how people work, not a side project. That's what this service does. We start with a short review of how your business runs: the tasks that eat time, the tools you already use, and where the risks are. You get a plain, prioritised plan for the next 90 days. Then we set it up. The right tool for your team, connected to the places your work already lives, with your brand voice, templates and company knowledge ready to go. We write a simple AI use policy and train your team to use it. And if you don't need much yet, that's fine. We'll keep it small.

What's involved

From first call to a working setup

Most businesses go from first conversation to a working setup in two to four weeks.

  • AI readiness review

Short conversations with your team about how work gets done. Where time goes, what tools you use, what you've tried and where the risks are.

  • A 90-day plan

A prioritised list of where AI will help most, ranked by time saved and how easy it is to do. Quick wins first. No 50-page report.

  • The right tools

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, chosen to fit how you already work. Business plans set up so your data stays private and access is controlled.

  • Your knowledge, built in

Shared workspaces loaded with your brand guidelines, products, services, FAQs and templates, so everyone starts from the same place.

  • Connected to your work

Where it makes sense, we connect AI tools to your email, documents, calendar or CRM, so they can help with real tasks, not just chat.

  • Clear rules

A simple AI use policy covering what's allowed, what data can go in, and how work gets checked. Your team signs off on it, not just the lawyers.

FAQ

AI Consulting & Setup questions

  • Is this worth it for a small business?

It depends. For a very small team, a training session and a properly set up tool is often all you need, and that's what we'll recommend. The full review makes most sense once you've got a few people and a few processes worth looking at.

  • We already pay for ChatGPT. Do we need this?

Maybe not all of it. Lots of businesses have the licences but aren't getting much from them. Often the quickest win is setting it up properly, with your brand and knowledge built in, and training the team. Come in for a chat and we'll work out what's worth doing.

  • What about GDPR and client data?

We set up business plans that keep your data out of model training and control who can see what. Your AI policy spells out what can and can't go in. For anything sensitive, we'll recommend you check with your own legal or data protection adviser too.

  • Do you sell software or take commission?

No. We recommend the tools that fit your business and you pay the provider directly. We're not tied to any of them.

  • What happens after setup?

Most businesses take a check-in a few weeks later, then add training or workflows as they go. Some keep us on for regular check-ins as the tools change, which they do often.

  • Can you work with me one to one as managing director?

Yes, and it's one of the most useful things we do. We go through how you run the business, not just the marketing. Operations, reporting, admin, sales and where your own week goes. Then we set AI up around how you work, so it saves you time from the first week.

  • Will you work with our IT provider?

Yes. We're happy to work alongside your IT people on accounts, security and access. We focus on how the tools get used day to day.
