Account Manager

Own a portfolio of client relationships, brief our specialist team, and keep fresh, effective marketing moving for a range of Irish businesses.

This is an account management role at the core of what we do. You'll own a portfolio of client relationships, becoming the person clients trust to understand their business, communicate clearly, keep work moving, and bring ideas that keep their marketing fresh. You don't need to be a specialist in any one thing. You understand the full picture well enough to manage the relationship across all of it and brief a team of specialists effectively. You're confident about what good marketing looks like, and you can translate that for clients. The right person wants somewhere to grow fast, take real ownership, and get results for clients alongside our team of fourteen.

What you'll do

  • Own your accounts. Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries and services, getting to know them and making sure they look forward to speaking with us.
  • Run client calls and meetings. Set the agenda, lead the conversation, and leave with clarity on next steps.
  • Keep clients informed with regular, proactive communication.
  • Build genuine relationships beyond the formal touchpoints. Get to know each client's business, their goals, and what success actually looks like for them.
  • Drive the work forward. Write clear, complete briefs for the design and specialist teams, across social posts, paid campaigns, SEO deliverables, email and web updates.
  • Track work in progress so nothing falls between the cracks.
  • Review output before it goes to the client, checking it's right and aligned with the goals.
  • Produce monthly performance reports that go beyond the numbers. What the results mean for the client's business, what's working, what isn't, and what the plan is.
  • Monitor performance across paid media, SEO, social and web analytics, and translate it into plain language.
  • Lead quarterly review conversations with clients: their goals, Rooftop's contribution, and what comes next.

What you'll bring

  • Two to four years working in marketing or account management, agency side, in-house, or a combination.
  • Hands-on experience managing relationships or working directly with clients and stakeholders.
  • A working knowledge of digital marketing across paid media, SEO, social, email and web, enough to hold an informed conversation about any of them. You don't need to be an expert in everything.
  • Comfort with performance data. You don't need to be an analyst, but you can read a report and know what it's telling you.
  • Curious by nature. You read things, you notice things, you ask why.
  • High standards for your own work.
  • Direct, clear, confident and friendly in how you communicate.
  • Organised. You can juggle several projects without dropping anything.
  • An eye for what looks good.
  • Hungry to develop your skills by working with the team and learning from them.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ClickUp, Asana, or a similar project management tool.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager or SEMrush at a working level.
  • An interest in how AI is changing marketing and agency work.
